Takashi Niwa Architects is a Vietnam and Japan-based architectural office with architects of a variety of nationalities.

By the design approach of “Visualize the values”, the firm designs from small furniture to big symbols, from interior to the urban planning and from private space to public space.

The aim of the approach is to create the best of environment and culture to bring more meaning to the users, clients, and society. We always cooperate with many stakeholders to create such meaningful projects.

The approach with careful consideration of environment and culture will be very important for Asian cities to provide more meaningful and grateful space. And we believe that it will maximize the investment for future.

Background and Results

The office was founded by Takashi Niwa.

After years of professional experience in Japan, Europe, and Southeast Asia, Niwa opened Takashi Niwa Architects in Hanoi, Vietnam in 2018. In 2020, the Japan office was established in Tokyo. Niwa's main projects before the established office is "Farming Kindergarten", "Castaways Island Resort", "Dailai Conference Hall" and so on.

He and Takashi Niwa Architects have won many international architectural awards through their challenges.

In 2020, Takashi Niwa Architects won the international competition for the Saigon River footbridge thanks to the successful application of "Visualized the Values" of the city.
